I kept messing up. I guess I don't know how to paste a photo here. But I could still do a link. Here's a photo of the solar eclipse from somewhere in Tai Po.
Sorry, it wasn't Tai Po, it's Tai Mo Shan. According to the SCMP, it started at 645pm and lasted 20 minutes.
